pyenvでPython2.xのinstallに失敗した時の対処法(Missing the zlib)

これ、

BUILD FAILED (OS X 13.3.1 using python-build 20180424)

エラーメッセージにあるドキュメントの方法に従って、

CPPFLAGS="-I$(brew --prefix zlib)/include" pyenv install 2.7.18

としても失敗した。

対処法

zlib は Homebrew で入れてること前提。

export CPPFLAGS="-I$(brew --prefix zlib)/include"
export LDFLAGS="-L$(brew --prefix zlib)/lib"
export PKG_CONFIG_PATH="$(brew --prefix zlib)/lib/pkgconfig"

CPPFLAGS だけじゃなくて LDFLAGS、PKG_CONFIG_PATH も指定する必要があるみたい。
